High-Voltage LED Lights
Flood the desert with high-intensity light from the rugged waterproof LED lighting system. The highly efficient drivetrain spins effortlessly on rubber-sealed ball bearings, and is integrated seamlessly into the Slash 4X4 Ultimate's unique low-CG chassis for optimum performance and easy maintenance. The center driveshaft is formed from extruded aluminum and extremely lightweight, contributing to the Slash 4X4 Ultimate's right-now acceleration. Low-CG Chassis
Slash 4X4 Ultimate's performance refinements begin with a dark charcoal gray low-CG (low center of gravity) chassis. The battery and electronics are held as deep in the chassis as possible to position weight low in the chassis. Arrow-straight, hard-charging acceleration with Extreme Brushless Power and 4WD requires a chassis that won't flex under load. To offer the necessary rigidity, the chassis is reinforced by integrated ribs that form a triangulated structure optimized for the loads imparted by the suspension and powertrain. The unique Revo-spec suspension geometry multiplies the suspension travel to lengths normally found on larger models. It provides true progressive rate performance that's light over the small bumps and instantly tightens when compressed to resist bottoming out over large jumps.
3-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
The TQ 2.4GHz micro receiver uses an integrated LINK button for fast and easy binding. A two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. In the event of signal loss, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The fail safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be set or activated.
Waterproof Electronics
Mud. Water. Snow. 1/16 Slash 4X4's waterproof electronics and fully sealed receiver box let you make tracks in conditions that leave other trucks parked at home. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special watertight seal. To protect the receiver from dust and water a custom shaped blue O-ring seals the receiver box.
