The HobbyZone Mini AeroScout makes learning to fly RC airplanes in more places and smaller spaces easy and fun! Inspired by the extremely popular AeroScout S, its “mini” size makes it a perfect smaller trainer model that can be flown in large parks, soccer fields, football fields and other suitable spaces where larger models can’t typically be flown. It features incredibly durable EPP construction with the same pusher power configuration as its larger counterpart for improved safety plus better propeller and motor protection that makes it the most durable HobbyZone airplane yet!
This makes it possible for first-time RC pilots to learn to fly successfully with one of the most durable hobby-quality trainers ever. It’s also extremely easy to assemble and repair if needed because – unlike other similar class models – the major airframe parts including the wing and tail simply bolt or snap into place…no glue or tape required!
Best of all it’s a Ready-To-Fly (RTF) aircraft so it includes a controller/transmitter equipped with 2.4GHz technology, AA batteries for the transmitter, plus a rechargeable LiPo flight battery and convenient USB charger. That means there’s nothing extra to buy or provide so you can fly!

Based on one of the most popular trainer aircraft ever designed for learning to fly radio controlled (RC) airplanes—the legendary Sport Cub S—its ultra-micro size makes it the ideal choice for a smaller trainer model that can be flown in large yards, parks, soccer fields, and other suitable spaces where larger models can't typically be flown successfully by first-time pilots. It's also a scale model of the popular Carbon Cub by CubCrafters, an upgraded and thoroughly modern iteration of the classic Super Cub. Best of all, it's equipped with Horizon Hobby's exclusive and innovative SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology that helps to prevent overcontrol, loss of orientation and crashes so nearly everyone can learn to fly successfully! Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced modes allow you to choose the level of stability and control you need, or are ready to try, at the flip of a switch. The Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes everything needed to fly in one box and is a perfect choice if you're a new RC pilot. From the Spektrum MLP6DSM 2.4GHz controller/transmitter and the AA batteries for it, to the 1S 150mAh rechargeable LiPo (Lithium Polymer) battery and a convenient USB charger that can be used with a variety of USB power sources, there's nothing extra you need to buy or provide! A Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic version is also available for experienced pilots who want to use their favorite Spektrum DSMX/DSM2-equipped transmitter along with batteries and chargers they may already own.
The RTF version also includes a Steam key to download and activate a trial version of the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator. The simulator features many of the most popular Horizon Hobby trainer airplanes and helicopters, including the Sport Cub S, and built-in Virtual Flight Instructor lessons. This helps new pilots learn to fly successfully by practicing on a desktop PC at home or on a laptop just about anywhere else! Simply use a USB-C cable (not included) to connect the included MLP6DSM controller/transmitter to a compatible USB port on your computer to fly for up to 100 minutes. 1969 was the golden age of exploration. Moon landings were no longer the stuff of sci-fi stories. Space explorers had become real life superheroes. Besides taking a trip to the moon, astronauts also had one particular job perk to look forward to - driving a ‘69 Corvette. Thanks to former Indy 500 winner, Jim Rathmann, astronauts in training were given the use of new Chevy cars every year for the whopping sum of $1. Apollo 12’s all-Navy crew picked the Riverside Gold Corvette Sport Coupes. All three were identical save one “touch of uniqueness” - a small rectangular plaque on the car’s fender. Each driver’s role on the spacecraft was engraved in the color assigned to them for their mission: red, white and blue.
