Inspired by the extremely popular AeroScout S, its "mini" size makes it a perfect smaller trainer model that can be flown in large parks, soccer fields, football fields and other suitable spaces where larger models can't typically be flown. It features incredibly durable EPP construction with the same pusher power configuration as its larger counterpart for improved safety plus better propeller and motor protection that makes it the most durable HobbyZone airplane yet! This makes it possible for first-time RC pilots to learn to fly successfully with one of the most durable hobby-quality trainers ever. It's also extremely easy to assemble and repair if needed because – unlike other similar class models – the major airframe parts including the wing and tail simply bolt or snap into place…no glue or tape required! Best of all it's a Ready-To-Fly (RTF) aircraft so it includes a controller/transmitter equipped with 2.4GHz technology, AA batteries for the transmitter, plus a rechargeable LiPo flight battery and convenient USB charger. That means there's nothing extra to buy or provide so you can fly! And the fun doesn't stop after you learn how to fly! It's lightweight yet durable airframe is equipped with a powerful electric motor that delivers long flight times and provides plenty of speed and power to perform aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls and more. That means the Mini AeroScout is a model even experienced RC pilots will appreciate and enjoy flying – and can also use to teach others to fly. Features
  • Smaller version of the AeroScout S that's conveniently sized so it can be flown at soccer/sports fields, large parks and in other suitable areas

  • Capable of performing aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls and more
  • No FAA registration required (under the 250-gram weight limit)
  • Full line of replacement/spare parts available
Ready-To-Fly Convenience This Ready-To-Fly (RTF) aircraft includes a controller/transmitter equipped with 2.4GHz technology and everything else you need to fly including AA batteries for the transmitter, a rechargeable lithium polymer (LiPo) battery for the airplane and a USB charger. That means there's nothing extra to buy or provide so you can fly! Pusher Power The Mini AeroScout's unique design and "pusher" power configuration helps protect the propeller and motor while also offering improved safety. Durable Design Construction with advanced EPP material delivers a lightweight yet durable airframe that's tough enough to handle everyday flying punishment without getting bent out of shape. And in the unfortunate event you damage any airframe parts or components and can't repair them, a full line of replacement/spare parts is readily available. Easy Assembly The Mini AeroScout arrives mostly factory-assembled with the power system and electronics already installed. All you need to do is finish some quick and easy final assembly, without the use of glue or special tools, and you'll be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery! This is the AFX Ford GT40 MKIV #2 LeMans Mega G+ HO Slot Car. 22014 Ford GT40 MKIV #2 Yellow The origins of the Ford’s GT40 MKIV is marred by tragedy. It began in 1966 with the J-Car just after LeMans. Ken Miles was test driving the car when it crashed on an embankment, bursting into flames. The rest is heavy-hearted history. There were only 10 made, only half of which ever actually raced. However, the MKIV is known for breaking records both at home and abroad. It only ran in two races: the Sebring 12 Hours and the 24 Hours of Le Mans - the most prestigious race events in all of motorsport. It won both. These victories were no accident. Ford made sure of that. The car was specifically, painstakingly designed for endurance, designed for speed…designed to win. Each element of the MKIV was totally different from other GT40s, starting with where it was made. The MKIV was built from scratch in the United States, unlike its predecessors the MKI and ll cars which were built entirely or partly in Europe. A little “skunk works” company called Kar Kraft built the all-new J series chassis and newly designed long, streamlined bodywork for Ford’s Special Vehicles Activity. The MKIV was easily the most radical variant of all the GT40s. Other modifications were made as well. A NASCAR-style, steel-tube roll cage was added as a direct result of beloved racer Ken Miles’ tragic death while testing the first J Car. Though it was significantly safer, the roll cage was incredibly heavy which hurt the car’s performance. The first MKlV to race was painted yellow with black stripes and built on the J6 chassis. Race prepared by Shelby American, it was also the first of the MKIVs to be tested at full speed at Daytona before moving on to Sebring. There, drivers Mario Andretti and Bruce McLaren not only won the race, they built the largest lead in Sebring history while breaking speed and distance records that would remain unbroken for years. The iconic 1967 Le Mans race saw the #2 driven by McLaren and Donohue. Half of the two part Shelby American team, they raced alongside Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt in the red #1 MKIV. The McLaren / Donohue car clinched the pole position in the Le Mans qualifying but their race took a harrowing turn when the entire rear bodywork flew off the car at over 200mph on the Mulsanne Straight. Andretti – driving the copper-colored #3 MKIV, lost control when his poorly installed brake pads failed at 3:30AM. Thankfully he walked away unscathed, however the crash left a trail of terror in its wake. McLaren’s #2 MKIV caught some of the debris from the crash that blew off the rear engine bonnet costing the team a detrimental 45 minutes retrieving and refitting the panel. Despite the chaos of the crash along with various clutch issues, McLaren and Donohue fought back and finished strong in fourth place. This epic Le Mans race on Sunday June 11, 1967 is still considered to be the race of the century and remains the only all-American victory in Le Mans history. 1969 was the golden age of exploration. Moon landings were no longer the stuff of sci-fi stories. Space explorers had become real life superheroes. Besides taking a trip to the moon, astronauts also had one particular job perk to look forward to - driving a ‘69 Corvette. Thanks to former Indy 500 winner, Jim Rathmann, astronauts in training were given the use of new Chevy cars every year for the whopping sum of $1. Apollo 12’s all-Navy crew picked the Riverside Gold Corvette Sport Coupes. All three were identical save one “touch of uniqueness” - a small rectangular plaque on the car’s fender. Each driver’s role on the spacecraft was engraved in the color assigned to them for their mission: red, white and blue.

The AstroVettes - as they were called, came with the thunderous roar of a 427 Turbo-Jet V-8 engine, four-speed wide-range transmission and 390 horsepower. The gold body donned black-painted “wings” designed by iconic stylist Alex Tremulis, evoking the colors of the Apollo 12 module. This AFX car represents the Corvette used by Lunar Module Pilot, Alan Bean. To Alan, the fourth person to walk on the moon, said driving his AstroVette was the one thing that compared to the thrill of flying through space. It featured a powerful 3-valve, all-alloy 427 Ford V8 engine—an engineering marvel designed for blistering performance. Built to dominate, its brutal, raw power is palpable. In fact, after testing the car, legendary driver Mario Andretti said the J-9 one of the “scariest cars” he had ever driven.
